52 years old, need to lose 90 pounds

Hi everyone! I just started on this journey today, and I need to lose 90 pounds. I've reached my goal before, only to eat my way back up again. (and again, and again) :( But this time my health is at stake. Arthritis, high blood pressure, chest pain, trouble breathing...yeah, it's time to get serious. I have a question though...whenever I plugged in all the info, it came up that my goal is 1650 calories per day. That does seem like a lot (although I'm sure I was plowing through those before noon before today!) but I'm just hoping I really can lose weight on that many calories. Always before whenever I lost weight I kept it limited to 1200-1300 and that was with exercising like a mad woman. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and hope to make lots of new friends on this journey!! :)

    1650 is probably a great place to start. As long as they're clean calories you should definitely be able to lose weight. Feel free to add me if you're looking for supportive friends :)
