Hi everyone! I just started on this journey today, and I need to lose 90 pounds. I've reached my goal before, only to eat my way back up again. (and again, and again) But this time my health is at stake. Arthritis, high blood pressure, chest pain, trouble breathing...yeah, it's time to get serious. I have a question though...whenever I plugged in all the info, it came up that my goal is 1650 calories per day. That does seem like a lot (although I'm sure I was plowing through those before noon before today!) but I'm just hoping I really can lose weight on that many calories. Always before whenever I lost weight I kept it limited to 1200-1300 and that was with exercising like a mad woman. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and hope to make lots of new friends on this journey!!

1650 is probably a great place to start. As long as they're clean calories you should definitely be able to lose weight. Feel free to add me if you're looking for supportive friends0
