App not working on Samsung S9 Tab

I am trying to use the MyFitnessPal app on a Samsung tablet. It installs OK but struggles to open properly. On one occasion it opened but the functionality was not the same as the app on a phone. The screens looked very different and there was no apparent way to enter food into the Diary.

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now I have the MFP blue page and a spinning arrow. It never opens.

Any ideas?

    We might not actually support Samsung tablet use- but i'm not sure about that. Our support team would be able to give you a definite answer. You should be able to use the MyFitnessPal website just fine on the tablet though.
