Here again after many years

Good morning y'all,

I'm back to using this site again as I'm now desperate to lose some weight. My diet is great but I'm still not losing weight. I have intolerances, I also can't do hard workouts or I gain more weight. It's been a struggle and tons of back and forth. I always had good luck with this site.

That being said, I let myself go after my memere passed away in 2021. I severely depressed for 3 years and now trying to enjoy life again. I have sole custody of my 3 kids and been working hard to deal with my anxiety so I can give them a fun life, it's also been a struggle.

I hope to meet people who are on the same path. I'm giving myself before I hit 40s to be down to my weight goal and more active. 3 years I should be able to do it! I am terrible with accountability. I hope there are others out there who share the same struggles and we can come together and help each other out.

    I'm rooting for you! Have you considered buying a fitness watch to track your daily steps and remind you to move on a regular basis? I think walking (particularly in outdoor green spaces) is a great way to reduce stress.

    I suffer from depression to. Chronically depressed for decades if honest. Mental health can be hard to deal with but you’re not alone! It’s good your taking steps forwards keep at it. I’m 2 years off 50 and as you it’s my goal to be a better me body and mind by 50 and then hopefully to sustain that process going forwards. But it’s ok to meander abit. It’s ok to be who we are. Small steps!
