Weight Gain AFTER taking and stopping Adderall

Hey so I'm curious if anyone else has had this experience.
During my last year of school I was very stressed and struggling badly with my grades. For whatever reason I could not focus or get a grasp on the material I decided to try Adderall to see if it would help me.
Actually it didn't really while I found myself incredibly irritated all the time. I did not lose weight at all contrary to what everyone told me what happened.
After 8 months I decided to stop taking it because I didn't like the idea of being on a medication like that long-term. Not just because it's a controlled substance but also concerns about what it might do to me and it seemed pointless to be on it cuz it didn't seem to be helping.
Fast forward a couple months after discontinuing maybe even a month after I had a startling disruptence with my menstrual cycle and that my period started as normal and then stopped and then started again and I basically had a late period for a month straight. This had never happened before and since my period had always been incredibly regular and reliable I could only really blame the Adderall because the timing seemed so coincidental.
Well that January I had really decided to start trying to get back in shape again and I was doing really good for a few weeks I was surprisingly in my 140s again for the first time in forever. I bought a cute pair of pants on clearance from the leftover holiday clothes rack they were little tight in my stomach but at the rate I was losing weight at the moment I bought them anyway because in a few weeks they would fit me perfectly.
I gained about 20 lbs that spring. And then on top of that I gained more weight. I finally peaked and weighed in at the most I've ever weighed in my life that I ever thought I would weigh about a year or two ago when I hit 175.
I used to be able to do intermittent fasting with successful results it just feels like ever since the Adderall incident I have absolutely struggled mightily to lose weight. Somehow and I don't know how I made it down to my mid-150s and that seems to be where I've been stuck for several weeks. I even did a 36-hour fast with a 2 and 1/2 hour walk on hilly terrain during my fast. I don't know how I didn't die because I certainly felt like I was going to. Anyway after all that I expected to lose even one pound and I didn't lose anything. I don't know how somebody eats nothing for 3 days straight does a 1,000 calorie walk and works on their feet all day in a hospital and still didn't lose any weight.
As difficult as it seems now for any weight to come off... Looking back I honestly don't know how I was ever lose as much weight as I did before. And I'm just going back to like 2019 and 20.
Anyway I'm just curious because all the Adderall posts are about losing weight and I've read nothing about similar experiences to mine.
