Hi Everyone!

My name is Tammy and I am sort of new here...I used this app years ago to help lose weight. It worked! I lost about 75 lbs. Now....due to menopause I gained it all back and within 1 year! Talk about painful. I went from 147 lbs to now up to 235 lbs. I want to cry! This app has changed a lot so I am trying to maneuver around. I really liked when you could open this app and see the feed. Now I have to search for it which by they way...I have no idea how I found it. Hope to see y'all soon on here. Thank you!

you’ve been gone for over a year, because the newsfeed was eliminated June last year.

The boards here are the best means of communication, sharing and advice.

Since then, “friend requests” have simply become a vehicle for romance or bitcoin type scammers. Unless you have old and trusted friends remaining from the last go around, I wouldn’t even accept requests.

However, the app itself still works fine and will help you back to successful weight loss again.

My question for you, though, what will you do different this time not to regain? Are you going to reach goal and go Woohoo! Back to my old habits!? Or are you willing to make thoughtful, permanent changes?

I remember once I had a really close and tight group on a previous app(spark people) we were a good group for years. And some of the members had been gone for a year or two and come back to the group and everybody was still really supportive of them. It was a group of 8-10; we checked in throughout the week and if we had a health or fitness question most would put in their 2 cents real quick but kept the group in touch. You don't always have to have full blown discussions to keep it board going.

yes. You could create a discussion group here, public or private. But it takes a lot of investment to keep them going.
