Hi. This is all new to me. I Am not tech savvy and is there a telephone number for this app when you have problems. Im not sure how to get to beginning of this app to record calories for meals?

    Welcome to MFP. No phone number. All contact with tech support is via the Support thread.

    If you are this unfamiliar with tech, suggest you round up a kid or grandkid and ask them to spend a little time with you showing you how to navigate.

    It’s actually quite an easy app to learn. It’s the weighing and logging of food that confuses people.

    I (ancient American imperial measurements user) finally learned that it was much easier to log and cook using grams versus ounces and measuring spoons. That’s another thing you might want to consider.

    A serving of peanut butter on a measuring spoon, heaped, can be 50% more than what you think it is versus actually weighing it. Same with cups of flour, sugar, butter. Our eyes are like “oh it won’t matter” but when counting calories, it sure does.

    Post here if you have questions , and be sure to let us know if you’re using the web version, iOS (Apple) app, or Android app version. There’s slight differences between them.

    I’m always happy to post screenshots of the iOS app if it’ll help you along.
