hi Isabel. Welcome to MFP!
briefly, had an epiphany that I was obese and in poor health. Made a decision to lose weight. Went from 225+ to 127, too low, made the decision to add weight back but to focus on muscle. At 149 am wearing the same clothes I got at 127, except for a few blouses and pants that wouldn’t accomodate muscle. I don’t look muscular or “swole” in street clothes, though. I look like a trim grandmother, which I am.If you need inspiration, head over to the Success Stories boards. Lots of great stories there.
My absolute favorite is the NSV (non scale victories) thread. That thread kept me pushing even when the scale was static. It taught me there’s more to loss than staring at an unforgiving scale.
