My body doesn't hurt

Ok so I have been on this site since July 13. I didn't do much exercising really until yesturday. Yesturday I walked three miles with Leslie Sansone (her DVD's)...which I have done in the past for awhile, but never three miles. I just went for it. I stopped at three because I thought I was going to hurt in the morning, and if I didn't stop it would be worse the next day. Every day that i have done her workouts in the past, only the 1 and 2 mile walk, I hurt the next day. Now I don't. I woke up waiting for the hurt and pain of the workout from yesturday (Turst me it was hard work...3 miles of walking in around 30 min or less...and she keeps you going fast, i was sweating!) and nothing. I am at work, and I can easily get up from my chair without feeling pain. Why is this? Is it because of eating better then I did before? I can't believe it, though! I feel ready to walk three more right now! Ok, just wondering if anyone else has ever had this experience before?

Let me tell you a story about yesterday.
On Tuesday, I did P90x plyometrics and then ran 3 miles. I was sore while running the 3, and was so sure I would wake up sore! I actually didn't and even mentioned to my fiance how great I felt.
Well then Wednesday after work I went for another run, telling him how fast I could go due to not being sore. WELL! As soon as I started jogging my quads were on FIRE! As soon as stopped the run and started walking, no problem at all.
So, maybe your muscles are busy fixing themselves, but you can't feel it due to you not using the same muscles you did while walking (3 miles in 30 min? I bet you were picking your knees up high, etc.
Otherwise maybe you ARE getting more efficient and so no soreness. Your other option would be delayed onset muscle soreness which sometimes takes 24+ hours to really kick in. Or maybe since you've lost some weight there is less pressure/strain on your legs while working out so less soreness. I am sure you still burned a TON of calories.
Hope this explains something for you!! Great job on your workout and keep it up!!0 -
Oh no! Big soreness might be comeing on
Well hopfully not. I plan on walking more tonight. I feel great! But thanks so much for the information. At least if I do start to feel some pain I won't be surprised by it. It makes sense, though, what you said!
