Generic GLP-1

Wegovy and Zepbound are expensive.
Once patents end on drugs other companies can manufacturer generic versions and the prices plummet.
One of the oldest GLP-1s, Liraglutide had its patent expire and it was just announce a generic has been approved for sale in the US.
Next it should be Ozempic, Wegovy, then Zepbound.
Soon this horribly expensive remedy will be widely available to those who've been prescribed it, and are in need.

Bristol Meyers Squib is outrageous! I take Eliquis! In the US, 30 day supply, with insurance is $850! I take 2 a day! I go to Canada Pharmacy Store! I get 200 tablets for $55! They are generic that aren’t sold in the US! Omg! Prescription drugs in this country is outrageous! So much for buying US! Very Sad!! Time to wake up America!!
