Bring back larger recent foods search

In the most recent android update (in my experience), the recent foods list has shrunk considerably! It is now a grand total of 49 foods long, to be exact. Before, you could basically find any food you'd ever logged via recent foods (to an extent). This new, seemingly artificial, limit makes logging previously logged foods MUCH more tedious.

Especially problematic when you no longer have the nutrition information for the previously logged food and there's a gazillion different foods in the database, all with different information. At least I knew the one I previously logged (more than 49 foods ago, apparently) had the correct nutrition information.

The search in general just flat out stinks. I tried to search for a food that I had 2 days ago by brand name (Dave's Killer Bread, just search for Dave) and it didn't find anything I had recently. Same thing with mayo (also had Tuesday), Egg, Egg White, etc. All things I've had within the past few days, couldn't find it.

Next to All, there really needs to be a separate search of all of the foods you've had. Search there first and if you don't find it, then go to all. This could also include foods you've added. So My Foods really should be what you've added personally plus what you have selected in the past from All.

People are creatures of habit. They tend to eat the same things frequently.

I'm glad MFP is working on this.

Searching ALL won't even consistently bring up results from Recipes, Meals, or My Foods. So I now have to search each individually to find what I'm looking for. This is in addition to not getting appropriate search results under Recent or Frequent for foods I eat everyday.

Please, please hurry to correct this issue!

The hassle of having to re-find foods, rebuild search history, re-scan everything I eat, etc. is a large reason I've not even bothered trying another company's app. And the fact that MFP has always been easy to use and worked so well in the past.
