I’m Amanda, 5’2” 40F in Appalachian Virginia, US

    SW Rnd 308 - 128.8

    RGW - 128.8

9/8 - 128.6. Just looking to maintain this round. I’ll be on vacation tomorrow through Saturday and plan to indulge (my favorite ice cream shop in the world is where we’re going and I haven’t been in years!). Hopefully the last 4 days of the round will be enough for damage control back to my start weight. Today is meatless Monday in our house and I plan to make a veggie-rich dinner with one last round of tomatoes from the garden (I planted 8 tomato plants but let the volunteers go wild and we ended up with way more supply than demand!). I did a Peloton ride this morning and just have trip prep the rest of the day. Happy Monday! I know, easy for me to say with a vacation starting tomorrow 😆

    9/9 - 128.8

    9/10 - DNW

    9/11 - DNW

    9/12 - DNW

    9/13 - DNW

9/14 - 132.8. Not surprised by this considering I overindulged all week even through my drive home yesterday. I was exhausted and drove alone with the kids for 8 hours and was shoving anything I could into my mouth to stay alert. It was a lovely break and the kids absolutely loved the beach and all the seafood! We did a beautiful sunset paddle board our last evening there. Today is cleaning, unpacking, maybe gardening, and hopefully a workout of some sort. Still tired.

(Typed in my note but did not post)

9/15 - 132.0. My main goal today is to drink more water than I have been. I’m substituting this morning but plan to do a short strength workout with my 4yo at home this afternoon. Really need a miracle to meet my maintenance goal this round! Yesterday I wound up going on a short mountain bike ride. I need to do that more. Love getting into the woods on two wheels!

9/16 - 130.8. Happy with that! I managed to increase my water and get things moving through my system! Still unlikely to shed 2 pounds before tomorrow morning 😆 That’s okay though! Today I’m off work so I walked the dogs and lifted weights. Made a meal plan and grocery list so I’ll hit the store before picking up the 4yo from preschool. Book club tonight! We read Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry this month. I highly recommend it! Fun read, story within a story kind of book.

    SW Rnd 303 297.6 EW 296.5 (-1.1)
    SW Rnd 304 296.5 EW 301.1 (+4.6)
    SW Rnd 305 301.1 EW 299.2 (-1.9)
    SW Rnd 306 299.2 EW 297.2 (-2)
    SW Rnd 307 297.2 EW 296.7 (-0.5)
Net loss to date after five rounds: 0.9

SW Rnd 308 296.7 GW for round 294.8 (same goal as my last few rounds)
    GW to end 2025: 284.7

9/8: 298.2 - Mondays are my recovery from my weekend. However, I did come home and get a lot of chores done, so I'd say I was more productive than usual.
9/9: 297.6 - Looked back on my weight to start this year and then again when I moved here in May and my weight was up 5 pounds before I moved and another 5 now. Disappointed but there's still time to get back to my start weight for the year at least. So, I've added that to my declarations.
9/10: 297.3 - Husband made us a beautiful dinner last night. He also ensured we had veggies as part of the meal. Busy at work right now.
9/11: 295.8 - Got a big smile on my face today. Feeling fairly in control. Hoping I can build on this momentum. My goal weight for this round is feeling achievable!
9/12: 297.1? I did weigh in but my app didn't record it so this is my best guess from memory.
9/13: DNW - Oops, got dressed today before I stepped on the scale! Nice date day with my husband. We checked out a volunteer fair and went to a winery.
9/14: 298.7 - No food was safe around me this weekend.
9/15: 299.8 - The price for the weekend was high. Yesterday I did a two hour deep clean of our master bedroom and rode the Peloton for 20 minutes but that didn't even scratch the surface to offset what happened in the kitchen (of course not).
9/16: 298.1 - Like Donna said, round and round we go, where we end, nobody knows.. I'm all over the place! I did not feel well last night so I went to bed early. Another round almost over with the same story to tell.

    9/12 - 167.3

    9/13 - 168.3

    9/14 - DNW

    9/15 - 168.5

9/16 - 167.1 - Well I wasn't expecting this! I'll take it, though. I've been doing really well with my eating, all things considered. I think it helped that, despite not logging, I stayed relatively mindful given my food options on Sunday. I also forgot to log my coffee and was over my protein goal by 18g (8g over my buffer). I lowered my protein by a bit so I still stayed under the 1g/lb body weight mark and I was within my +/- 100calories of goal buffer so it's especially shocking to see such a drop. I got a leg day in at the gym today - nothing too crazy but definitely had me struggling on my last few reps and made my legs feel like jello for a short bit after I got up from the machines. If nothing else, at least I know I'm doing enough to maintain my muscle during this recovery period. I've done some additional research on some rehab work I can do at home for my shoulder to start building back up. Waiting 2 months to start PT is too long according to several folks, including a nurse and a couple PT friends.

9/8: 182.2 🤨+0.3 from Rnd 307 EW | NSV: Went on a 1.8mi walk this morning. It felt good. Full day of lessons today. I will be wiped this evening. Planning on a strawberry-spinach salad for dinner…with chicken, of course—so I’m not so hungry after dinner! Hardest goal so far is NOT eating after 8 pm!!! Any tips? Anyone care to share your best tip for curbing that monster? I am literally hungry—not just bored. I’m busy doing things with my hands and keeping my mind busy.

9/9: 180.4 😊-1.8 Okay, I’ll take it, but not counting on it to last. NSV: I closed my rings yesterday and had 621 calories remaining. However, I also have calorie adjustment ON??? I had no idea that I had it on or that it even was a thing. After reading about it, I think I shall leave it alone. Salad was tasty last night, and I made sure to have 6 oz chicken to stave off hunger. It worked!

9/10: 181.2 😏I’m up from yesterday but still below SW for this Rnd. Pretty jazzed about dinner last night. I made Risotto for the first time! In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted it. The whole meal was a-mazing! Tonight is music bingo at a local brewery for a Meetup. I’m excited to go have fun but nervous about what to order. I’ve been studying the menu. Not only do I want low-cal, I also need GF. Ugh! 🤞

9/11: 181.5 😔Okay, I know this is going to eventually go down for good if I stay strong. It has to!!! Meanwhile, I had a couple glasses of wine and GF tacos (meaning corn tortillas) at the brewery for music bingo last night. They were yummy. 😋So considering all of that, I think I understand why the scale was up a bit today. Now tomorrow?? That’s going to be interesting. Mexican restaurant out with the family for lunch today🌮, tap class started back up💃, and book club tonight📚. NSV: I did not go insane with the chips and espinaca dip today. I looked up the calories before having any and kept control. That was big! Plus, I was so careful today that I’m going to enjoy a cupcake tonight🧁. I’m so excited!!!🤩

    9/12: 181.8 🤨Had the cupcake. Am I being punished? 😔

9/13: 180.8 😮Wonder if this is real??? I know I hurt from tap dancing on Thursday. I’ve had more wine this week, since you know, once you open a bottle, you have to finish it within a week. 🤣These incremental moves make me nuts!!!! Not sure what’s happening the rest of the day.

9/14: 180.7 😊Full day. Eating out tonight with a friend.

9/15: 182.8 181.9 😔We ate out last night, so I’m feeling that this is water weight. If you’re unfamiliar (which I was), Bibibop serves up bowls. It reminded me of a salad bar, but the servers assemble it like Chipotle. Those sweet potato noodles were pretty yummy. Full day with lessons today. Leftover Mexican food for dinner.

9/16: 181.0 😊One more day to this round. I doubt I’ll make my goal, but I’m hoping to be close. Busy, busy day. Meeting this morning. Tap this afternoon. Eating out and then theater tonight. Lots of walking downtown though.

     67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 308 (my 238th).

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
    • an additional goal for me (again) this round is to have a totally 10-day binge free round, will be difficult with hotel food all round!

Soooh, in 5 hours we fly out for our annual holiday; in that time I want to eat at maintanence & not overindulge, but I am on holiday so will relax a tad, I can do it if I use my will power.

    Good luck for success everyone.

    image-311500c7c405b-9220.png

I am the driver in my life & not the passenger, I need to drive my life to a healthy life."Health is wealth".

9/7 141.6 – (trend 141.8) 11.64 miles walked. Can’t say that I’m not disappointed with this number especially after Friday’s goal weight being achieved, I was under calories yesterday, but over on carbs, I’ll blame the pizza for tea. Oh well, it is what it is!

    EW Rnd 307 141.6

SW Rnd 308 141.6 (yesterday's end of round number)

    SW Rnd 308

9/8 DNW - up at 1.30 am to travel to airport, good food yesterday.

9/9 DNW - kept as much on track as possible. Buffet food at the hotel & all inclusive, kept portion control and made sensible choices, but so tempting! One adult beverage on arrival & one with dinner.

    9/ 10 DNW - 7.98 mile walked.

9/11 DNW - 8.34 miles walked, still exercising portion control & sensible choices, 2 adult beverages. It is so relaxed here, first time for many years we have actually lay on the beach for a couple of hours and swam in the sea which is so warm & clear, wonderful to see all the fish big & small swimming!

9/12 DNW - 8.4 miles walked. This is such a small resort that walking is limited, but we are managing to go 6 miles in the morning & make it up in the evening after dinner.

9/13 DNW - 9.61 miles walked, ate a little more than other days, need to rein in today.

9/14 DNW - 7.32 miles walked, it was soooo hot yesterday! Not complaining, that's what we paid our money for, but a struggle to get steps in!!

    9/15 DNW - 7.83 miles walked.

9/16 DNW - 9.49 miles walked. Today is our wedding anniversary; we are riding the road train to the next resort.

9/17 DNW - 6.3 miles walked. Had a lovely day, hotel spoiled us last night, all sensible eating went out the window!!

    👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE & I AM WHAT I EAT! 👍👍.

Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 308
    Sept 8 -17, 2025

63 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).
SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
SW MFP Sept 14, 2020  – 153 (lost 40, then stress loss of 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress gain)
    SW MFP Jan 1, 2023  – 146.6

    GW Maintaining between 124 – 126

    SW: 126.2

8/8 – 126.2 I got through yesterday well. Was a very mixed day. It started with family visiting my mom so she could finally see DGS2 for his second birthday. She was totally blank. I have never seen her like this, to this extreme. So, the family together was fun, but mom’s condition/behavior was stressful. We’ll see what today brings.

8/9 – 126.6 regarding the scale, the day ended poorly. I was wondering overnight whether it is easier for me to NOT start vs STOP once a binge has begun. Just something for me to contemplate. As for my mom, yesterday was as if Sunday never happened. She seems to know nothing about it and is acting “normal” (she is roughly stage 5 for “normal” reference). She apparently claims to not remember any of us visiting, and it was 7 of us for about an hour and a half. I would love to understand the “why”.

8/10 – 127.2 yesterday, calories were good/fine. Maybe this was delayed results from the previous day. Was with mom again, and yesterday was like Sunday. Her healthcare provider is going to check her today, but zoom medical with her psychologist (for dementia) agreed that we may just be seeing a stress reaction to change (new bed and new aid added to her team).

8/11 – 125.6 good day all around. Back into maintenance range. Got 5 out of 10 days in round 307.

8/12 – 126.6 Over on calories. Dinner was at 4:15 (attended a wake), and just got too hungry later in the evening. Also, dinner and late night were “processed” items and overnight finger were tight. Theory is there might be salt and fluid retention showing her. I did try on rehearsal dinner and wedding dresses yesterday, and everything fits. Today’s food should be good and is planned out, and will NOT be a 4:15 dinner.

8/13 – 126.8 a definite gift. Binge again. At least I know there is no time for a binge today or tomorrow, but still facing lots of foot. I plan to enjoy but be thoughtful.

8/14 – 126.6 Made it through yesterday. Mom rose to the occasion and enjoyed the rehearsal dinner. She is skipping the wedding today. Pulling myself together this morning. I have to be at the venue before 8:30. Quickly drinking my coffee and gotta go.

8/15 – 125.8 Shocking number for day after the wedding. Day was beautiful and all went well. Of course though, the day after one does think “I should have done X”. But bride and groom both said yes, and are happy, so life is good!

8/16 – 127.6 Huge ice cream binge which I will NOT describe. Today will be good, so I know it will settle out if I give it a few days.

8/17 – 127.6 Well “today” (AKA yesterday) was not good. I honestly contemplated skipping the scale this morning.

    9/8 132.4🏆🎾🚶‍♀️💗👣🤸🏼📖

I screwed up. I thought today was the last day of R#307. I will catch up tomorrow. #HSF #MindBodySoul Let’s do this!!💪🏻

(THE City Council Meeting is tomorrow eve)! I’ve got tomorrow covered.

9/9 132.4 🏆🎾🚶‍♀️💗👣🤸🏼Tossed & turned all night. Of course. I’m too groggy to figure out today but I WILL fuel my body & move. Full court press today -for tonight’s meeting. - I’m keeping up pretty well.  I need to 💦🏋️‍♀️. My two ✅ non-negotiables today.#HSF #MindBodySoul.

NSV: I’m in a MUCH better place (head) than I was 2 yrs or even 6mos ago. I’ve learned NEW habit formation for me is REALLY harder than I ever imagined. I have some new habits that I’m extra proud of (💦📖👣🚶‍♀️💗& 🥩P:E) but ohhhh soooo far to go. Some old /current habits (like self-talk) are still forever-present & destructive. Quick to realize but always there. Must be thankful for the awareness so I at least can change directions.

9/10 132.4 🏆🚶‍♀️💗👣🤸🏼 We lost. No regrets only sorrow for my town. I will need a few days to get through this… But I’m ready to embrace a ANOTHER new chapter and move on. Very proud of the consistency on this #HSF journey during this emotional time - at least this morning anyway. Maybe I have indeed created a few dependable healthy habits. Counting my blessings. Onward!

    9/11 132.0 🎾 🚶‍♀️💗👣🤸🏼

    🙏Life forever changed yesterday. 🙏

    9/12 132.4 🏋️‍♀️🤸🏼📖🙏💦

9/13 & 9/14. Plan to get back on track today. Little to no sleep… I didn’t go off the rails, but I was definitely off plan with portion control. Quite difficult to stay on plan when sleep deprived. Last night I crashed at 7:45PM and slept soundly till 6AM so I may have turned the corner to somewhat normalcy. Planning my WV 🚶‍♀️💗👣 🏋️‍♀️ this morning and visiting grandchildren.

9/15 DNW I’m not measuring anything, but I’m OK! As soon as I get my sleep cycle back in order I’ll be back 100%!❤️😍

Also, I appreciate your supportive comments… And will reflect on each of your journeys!

9/16 133.0. I’ve played 🎾tennis the last couple of days and I’m playing tennis today & tomorrow. 👣around 8k… I’m in a tennis tournament Friday & Saturday. My goal over the next few days is to 📖& focus on protein and hydration. #HSF #MindBodySoul

9/17 133.0 Little sleep & no TMI but held it together. ✌️ Peace to all. Up 2.8lbs in one year. With every year (that I get older!), I’ll address realty sooner rather than later - TODAY! My goal remains unchanged. See y’all in R309.

    SW Rnd 303 297.6 EW 296.5 (-1.1)
    SW Rnd 304 296.5 EW 301.1 (+4.6)
    SW Rnd 305 301.1 EW 299.2 (-1.9)
    SW Rnd 306 299.2 EW 297.2 (-2)
    SW Rnd 307 297.2 EW 296.7 (-0.5)
    SW Rnd 308 296.7 EW 298.7 (+2)
Net loss to date after six rounds: zilch

    9/17: 298.7 - Rode the Peloton - yay. Ate pizza - nay.

    Rnd 308 | SW: 182.6 | EW: 180.9 (-1.7)

9/17: 180.9 😊I’m pretty pleased with how this round ended. Yesterday was busy and fun. So glad I’m able to go to tap twice a week now instead of just one. NSV: I can tell I’m getting stronger. We have to do a lot of movement while balancing on one foot and then repeat the same on the other foot. When I started this, I could NOT keep my balance. Now I can tell that I am getting better at this. I talked with three ladies who had all had knee replacements this summer, and I’m hoping I can strengthen enough to avoid this. Obviously, losing weight will help avoid that as well. 🤞

    👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE 👍👍

    9/16 - 167.1

9/17 - 167.1 - I'm content with this! I was honestly feeling heavy this morning and expected to see an increase. My scale app has been acting up these last few days so I'm hoping I can continue to do my weigh-ins since I rely on it syncing and then my ability to later refer back to the weigh ins. At a quick glance, it doesn't look like today's weigh in synced which means all my other apps that rely on Withings haven't been updated. Luckily the app opened long enough for me to see my weight that flashed on the scale was the same as yesterday's so I'm able to log it here.
