woman first time lifting

i went to the gym for the first time in years today & did essentially everything but the heavy lifting. i'd love to start lifting, but i have no idea where to start.

for this past week i've been using 2kg weights while doing various circuit training type things....

i'm 22 yrs and 150 lbs. i've only started working out at all like 2 weeks ago..

any thoughts / tips / warnings appreciated
