Hello!
Hi all
I am a 28 year old woman. I started out at over 300lbs many moons ago and got my weight down to 130lbs. Since then after going to school for nursing, my weight has gone up to the 160s range. I am here to get (and stay) healthy again by reducing my weight to 130-140lbs and gain lean tissue.
I don' know how this page works but keys keep each other motivated!

thank you for what you do (or will be doing soon!)
good job catching it early and deciding to crack back down. The community boards act like pretty much any other boards out there, post and wait for a reply.
One thing that’s really helped me through maintenance has been something I read here early on:
always treat maintenance like you still have ten pounds to lose
For me, I know if I stop weighing and logging, I’ll balloon back up again. I’ve worked too hard to get here and now own (for the first time in 30+ years) a slammin’ wardrobe I’d be sick if it no longer fit. So, I’ve accepted that I’ll be weighing and logging for the rest of my life. No problem. It’s second nature now.Go back to what helped you lose the first weight, knowing that those last few are the hardest to lose don’t try to do it too fast, and recognize and acknowledge the new habits that are helping.
Those are the ones you’re going to want to keep during maintenance.

and PS you earned an “inspiring” for losing the first 170, and managing to stop yourself “in time”.
Hugs!
