Steps Problem

am having to log food daily, since afraid to pre-log til the date problem gets sorted out.

Noticed my final net calorie count for yesterday had changed almost 100 calories overnight.
puzzled, I looked at yesterday’s log.

I walked 13,000+ steps yesterday. Overnight, MFP changed it to 7,000+ and (because I have negative calorie adjustment enabled), took off those hundred calories.

This morning I already have 673 on my watch MFP recorded 67, but then, within moments, reduced steps to 42.

Will be keeping an eye on steps throughout the day.

here’s MFP log for Thursday (which, due to the date issues, is calling “tomorrow”):

I’ve noticed MFP docking me a few hundred, even a few thousand steps daily, but when it’s enough it causes a 100 calorie fluctuation in. Y log, well, that’s pretty critical.

What’s going on here, and is there a timeline to fix it?

PS lest I sound a little whackadoodle complaining that steps this morning dropped from 67 to 42, my point is, there should be no way MFP is recording “reducing” steps.

Step count should only get larger.

Since those step counts affect daily calories, backwards count shouldn’t even be possible.
