Return ability to search food history by brands

Please consider returning the ability, when adding foods to meals, to search the recent history by brand name, in addition to the descriptor.
Ex #1: When trying to add a serving of Ruffles chips, although I have the Verified food in my history, I have to remember to search 'Original' to get the quick-add to appear, or I'm forced to search the global for Ruffles.
Ex #2: I used to be able to search 'McDonalds' and quick-add oatmeal, McMuffin, and coffee in 3 taps, instead of having to search for each individually.

Agreed. The Jif pb i have been logging forever didn't come up when I searched "Jif". I looked back at my previous days and the item is listed as Simply Jif, so it only comes up if I type "Simply" first. Since the database is user created, some items are brand name first, some are food first, some start with and adjective, there is no way I'm going to remember which way each item was worded.

is it possible to add magnesium to the nutritional breakdown?

I wholeheartedly agree with this. The brand name is often the most distinctive thing about a food. excluding it from the search makes this harder to use. It broke my muscle memory of what to type to add certain items.
