How much weight can i lose in 3 months?

CW: 140lbs
Height: 5'6
Age: 25
Female

I am off to Thailand on the 16th December for one month. I've not had a beach holiday in 10 years so i've never had to put on a bikini but there will be no excuses this time.

I'm out of shape, i have a large flabby belly (no children) and big thighs and bum so i'm desperate to get into shape by then. I'm ideally looking to lose 21lbs.

Has anyone achieved a great loss in such a short amount of time, if so, any tips?

  • We have similar starting stats -
    Female, 23, 5'4. I started at 149lbs on June 16th 2013, and I'm now at 126lbs. Just shy of 3 moths and I've shed 23lbs.

    The weight fully dropped off me to begin with, i lost the first 10lbs very quickly, within a few weeks. The rest of the weight has been coming off at a 1lb per week rate... roughly.

    I started eating a 1200 calorie diet and after struggling with energy levels and reading up on the dangers of it, i upped to 1500. I run a lot and i 'eat back' my exercise calories, netting around 1500 (or slightly under) every day.
