Do I cut or bulk

I'm 15, 5'10 150 lbs. All around I'm not toooo big but I do have a bit of fat on my sides and small amount on my stomach. The thing that sucks is my hip bones are wide so I get a bit of a wider look no matter what. I work out 6 times a week and my maintenance is abt 2600 but I usually eat less than that, just started tracking so I was looking for some tips on what to do.

At 15, the main tip is don't be here on MFP. The site's rules limit it to people 18 and over. One reason is that calorie and nutrition needs of someone your age are very different from those of fully-grown and matured adults. Instead, please consult your doctor, or a trusted person like a health teacher, coach, school nurse or similar.

Unless a young person is severely obese and under close medical supervision, this is not a time to be cutting calories. Your better bet would be to eat at least at maintenance, perhaps ideally even a tiny bit above, eating mostly things like meat, fish, veggies, fruits, whole grains and that sort of thing. It's OK to have some treats, too, once nutrition is dialed in.

You're at the ideal age to get appearance and health benefits if work on developing a safe and effective regular exercise program that includes both progressive strength exercise and some cardiovascular exercise. Gaining muscle at constant weight or slight weight gain is most productive at the age you are now. Any small amount of body fat you have will be part of the fuel for growth, maturation, and strength/muscle gain. On the strength side of things, you should do full-body workouts, but know that as your shoulders and chest get stronger and add muscle, your upper body shape will balance out your hip bones more.

Please get advice appropriate to your age and stage of maturation/development. At 15, and not obese, cutting calories is not likely to be a good part of the formula for best health and appearance.
