Hi,

i'm 17st and hate exercise, especially due to my size. I hate being seen even normally and the suggestions of swimming, aqua aerobics, gym etc .. no way. My carer can't understand how it makes me feel, it's just an excuse to her.

I've made myself almost a hermit as I never go out unless it's to empty rubbish or taken by carer. She won't help with what i should/shouldn't buy shopping as she thinks within 3 weeks i'd be mad at her and ignore her.

So as i have a xbox 360 and kinect will things like the bowling, golf, table tennis for the kinect help? As I said i'm not keen on exercising and i downloaded some of the fitness demo's and one had me trying african dance as easy.

I have no centre of balance, 1 leg a bit shorter than other (me vs car, i lost lol) and i have only noticed after having the kinect my body now leans to the left, alot so quickly get lower back ache. Believe me i'm great at accidents, it's my major talent ;-)

I'm hoping the kinect bowling, tennis and some of the other kinect games will help for exercise, i mean try the star wars kinect game demo. I was knackered within minutes of waving arms about and trying force push, jumping light saber. I can walk for longer than trying that demo.

I use my Kinect to supplement my other exercise. If that's what you can do right now...DO IT! I use the Kinect Sports.... the ones that really get my HR up are the soccer, boxing and volleyball. ALL movement is good! :glasses: On average I burn a good 350 cals in an hour...and have a great time doing it!

In my opinion anything that gets you moving is a good thing! I don't know anything about those games but give it a try and see how you do :) Just make sure you don't over do it! Don't want any more injuries! :)
