Substitute key ingredients
Many of the recipes I use are based on rotisserie chicken. I’d rather use baked boneless skinless white meat to cut the fat and calories.
Picking a rotisserie chicken I’m throwing away as much skin as I can but it’s a royal pain. Is there a way to edit the recipes and adjust the macros for boneless/skinless chicken?

Where are you getting your recipes? If you are entering them, yes, you can edit them. If it's from a website, you can import it into the recipe calculator and edit it to fit your modifications.

I’m using the meal planner in the MFP app. So the app is providing the recipes.

I haven't used that feature, so I don't know whether the recipe calculator lets you edit those recipes. I would try that first. If not, here is a tip that works with chain restaurant meals that you could adapt. Calculate the difference in calories and the macros that you track between the rotisserie chicken and the quantity of breast you use as a substitute. Then make a negative entry custom food, for hypothetical example -100 calories -10 grams fat, etc. (I just made up those numbers don't use them). That can also work when you log something from a chain recipe with modifications, like without cheese or without the bun (or whatever you modify).
