Are they trying to make this app impossible to use on purpose?

This app continues to get harder and harder to use I'm assuming because they want to force to the premium paid app. The food search is absolutely abysmal at this point.

I can't say that I have noticed more problems than usual. But if you don't like it, don't use it, find an app that you do like.

I use the free version but I'm not sure that paying for Premium will improve the food search - it uses the same database.

And, it doesn't matter if you pay, searching for a new food still sucks. The worst are "staple products" that can have 30 entries. Click my icon to find my rant about chickpeas.

I'm also salty that they eliminated a feature where you could mark foods as favorites. At least recent foods come up first on a search.

In any case, MFP's needs to take on the mantra "It's the database, stupid!"

I created my own fav diet meals in my meals and added my fav foods to my recipes made it easier. Also I’m boring so I often just copy a meal

From the day before. I liven things up with different veges which are easy to find.

Not great with processed food is a plus- stop buying prepared food and make it yourself!

Ironically, the paid and the free food search are exactly the same. They've just broken it.

It is a very different user experience than a few years ago. > I input all my own entries. I got burned on a few items early on and also MFP overestimating exercise cals. lol

You have to double check accuracy.

Just google whatever food your looking for nutrition and pick which one’s closest to that on the app. It is a Free app. Ive paid way more for weight watchers and that wasn’t completely accurate either. Tracking works dont give up:)

the premium subscription now sucks. I can’t track my weight loss easily at all now — it’s buried in settings. I cancelled.
