I am new to losing weight and starting on my diet what is a way to make it fun and easy to stick to

    if you achieve some success and keep it going - that definitely makes it fun. Trying new healthy recipes. I love football and enjoy getting a great game (or several) and cooking new healthy food while watching. I make plentiful amounts and refrigerate/freeze them. Then you're set for awhile. I started about 4 weeks ago with a generally healthy approach and keeping under the daily calorie limit. After a few days of success I seemed to stall. Then I decided to go for a keto diet and mark myself as less active. Since then the weight loss has been nothing short of amazing. Approximately 0.7 lbs/day last 7 days! Around 25 years ago I used the "Zone Diet" and lost about 45 lbs. Not much different than Keto. I gradually gained it back over the years. Now in my 60's I recently got some new body parts - both hips and left knee. Fantastic! Now doing intense hikes on steep terrain and going to the gym. Weight loss is the next step on my way to much better health. 10 lbs so far. 29 lbs to go! I'm pumped! I like the app. It seems easy enough. I've got a scale that connected to the net so my weight is automatically captured. Also my steps are automatically capture. I'm a numbers guy so managing the app is not that big of challenge.
