Accountability partner(s) for the last 20 lbs? (female 41)
I have been trying to lose a moderate amount of weight the last year or so but instead it seems like it just keeps ticking up! I was in a good spot about a year ago and want to get back to it, but I find it so hard to lose weight when I am at a not-terrible weight to start with, close to a healthy weight.
A bit about me: I'm 41 and pretty active in general. Into rock climbing, hiking, bike riding, trying to do some weight lifting recently. I struggle with snacking during the work day and eating out, and emotional or fatigue-eating. I have been trying to drink less alcohol.
Would love to find someone to message with each day and report back on how things are going, maybe who is in a similar situation vis a vis being relatively active and struggling to lose a moderate amount of weight.
Live in Portland, Oregon, in case anyone out there is also in the area. Thanks, all!

Hello
I’m in the same spot. Got about 20 lbs to lose, working 12hr shifts with a coworker who keeps bringing in candy like it’s going out of style.
I got a C2 rower at home that I want to start using again and I got some kettle bells in the mail. So I’m almost ready to get started.I’m in the Denver area.

Hi,
I’m also looking for accountability friends or group of friendly people to keep me motivated.
Few things about me: I’m 37, lost all my motivation I had before and have no excuses for anything: snacking after dinner and eat emotionally 🥲 I use metric system, and live in Europe - hope it is not a problem in 2025 :)))

Hi, i’m 33, on the east coast, and also want to lose about 20 pounds. I mainly struggle with eating real home made meals instead of relying on all kinds of junk, and controlling my portions. I exercise in moderation 4-5 times a week (less recently bc I’ve been struggling with hip pain) but otherwise have pretty sedentary lifestyle as I’m finishing my PhD now. I would love to have an accountability partner, or even a small group. Please let me know if you’re interested!
