I'm getting closer to being in a healthy weight!!

I'm still 22lbs away from my ultimate goal weight but I just need to lose 2 more lbs for my BMI to be considered healthy!!(163 cm and currently 147 lbs). I've been overweight/obese half my life and for the first time in a long time I'll finally be considered "Healthy" lol. I've been strictly following my calorie deficit for 7 months now and I've lost 68 lbs so far WOWWW!

I can't believe I used to just dream about getting to this weight because I just wanted to feel normal and now I'm so close to being what they call "normal weight". Thank you all so much for the people on here that answered my queries, I wouldn't have gone this far if there weren't people who gave advices on here🦭

CHEERS Y'ALL!!

Congrats on the loss! That's an awesome achievement!

As you start getting closer to goal weight the losses on the scale become smaller and smaller, so don't get discouraged. Some days it'll even bounce up for no apparent reason. Just trust your process that got you this far and keep plugging away! You've got this!

Update us when you get closer to your goal! Good luck!

Congratulations on (almost) getting to "healthy". It's a great feeling, after being overweight for so long.

I came here to say the same as briscogun though - the last 20lb is difficult and you can expect it to take time, possibly even longer than it's taken you to get to this point as you should soon be slowing your rate of loss to something like 1lb a week and then down to 0.5lb a week. But that's fine as you can use the time to really learn what keeps you feeling fuller and start adjusting towards the lifelong changes that will help you maintain your new, lower weight once you reach your goal. Good Luck for your continued progress.
