They were banned for sticking up for themselves when people trolled their success threads to tell them they looked better fat.

Once you've been at goal for more than 3 months, they automatically deactivate your account.
So you cannot be a lifer here ? That's sad !:sad:0 -

A lot of them simply get reported by a bunch of newbs who know nothing and get offended when successful individuals try to help (sometimes with a bit of sarcasm and/or a blunt and straight forward manner). You can pretty much guarantee that the more posts someone has and the more success someone has had, the closer they are to getting banned from MFP forums. Once that happens, why keep an account?
If it was up to the newbs, it would just be all newbs here and they would simply support each other with rainbows and cuddles...and blowing smoke up each others butts.0 -
they were bullied because they were helpful
got three strikes and were banned form the forums
forums are a source of joy and laughter with the endless supply of derptitude, and without being able to comment on said derptitude, they couldn't bear the heartache and lost all will to live.
they deactivated out of despair
some reincarnate and start fresh with new strikes to be had.
some...
never
come
back

MFP secretly persecutes these posters for their success. If they share their success tips, more users will be successful and end up quitting. It is a conspiracy to keep us all fat and clicking ads.
Always able to add entertainment value to any forum post ... thank you Whierd :flowerforyou:0 -

Do YOU plan on being on this site for the rest of your life?
I do. This is my home and Iit here.

Being at goal weight is divisive and considered an insult or trolling to other users.
That's why I stopped 10-15 pounds short and haven't budged much. I don't want the strikes, and permaban.0 -

There's been a few "heavy lifting results" success stories that i've read on MFP but when i go to see that person's profile to check out pics, it says the account has been deactivated? WTH?
I haven't noticed a correlation between lifting weight success stories and increased incidence of deactivation. I would expect that there would be a whole lot more people who signed up on January 1st of any given year that have subsequently deactivated when they lost interest in their new years resolution. Yea?0 -
