I love my scale sooooo much....

I miss it. And I love Saturdays because then I can be reunited with it.

Right now I feel like I'm living my life from weigh in to weigh in.... it's Thursday, and I get more anxious each day to hop on the scale and see how I've done this week.

I want to shake that feeling of constantly needing to weigh in... and at least I have stopped weighing in every day. But does anyone else feel like this? It's exciting to do it on Saturdays, but the thought consumes me all week!!!!

    Trust me, I know what you mean. It sucks for me, personally. I keep trying to break the habit of weighing in every single morning, but I usually can't help myself. Waiting a week in between weigh ins makes me freak out and think about it CONSTANTLY.

    ME!!!! lol im resisting to go weight but i dont have to weight if ive eaten for the day....i always say im going to weigh every morning but then i end up forgetting for eating before i remember, i joined curves and they take it 30days at a time.........i just went and weighed in and got measured on the 26th.........so im trying to wait for my30 day to be over......

    Yes, I feel like that also. I weigh in on friday and this morning I was thinking I should just weigh in today what is one day early. But talked myself out of it. I hope it is good news when I finally step on the scale. Good luck to you also

    Just think of it like 'junk food' you don't need it. You know you're doing the right thing. So, put it on the top shelf of your closet and just like you're doing take it out once a week for a reward.

    I weigh in every Thursday and while I always want to jump on for a second to check during hte week, but I wont. I like hte anticipation though, it motivates me!

    I laughed when I seen that you had posted this topic cause I know you don't love your scale hehe! I wish I had your will power to only weigh once a week. I usually get on mine several times, not every day but too much. You're doing so great and your scale love you too haha! Even when you get mad at it!

    Your doing well if your controling the daily weighing. I just got off mine, second time today! LOL! TOM keeps me running to it, worried what I have gained from it. But, in a way, it's good for me. I was 194.6 Saturday, and started Sunday. I was 196.4 on Monday, and 196.6 on Tuesday, 2lbs gained. Then Wednesday was back to 196.0 and then I walked alot, and sweated alot yesterday. Today was 195.0. So, I am only .4oz more then Saturday and I hope to sweat it off by this Saturday's weigh in. It keeps me in check by seeing that scale go up. Hope to at least break even this week.

    In my case, I feel a daily morning weigh in takes the pressure off. When I try to wait a week, I just obsess about it.
    Also, if it looks like I am starting to gain again, I work a little harder.
    Maybe it is all in my head, but it works for me.

    I don't have a scale at my house, but at my mothers. I would weigh in every friday and things were fantastic!

    Then, I started going over there to the treadmill every day for 3 mile runs and am finding myself weighing every day! EEEKKK! However, I don't record every single reading...I leave it until friday! :flowerforyou:

    Get the measuring tape out and leave those scales alone...they are not good for you! I am currently addicted to weighing every day...and am slowly becoming an addict! But, in all honesty, it worked better for me with ONE weigh in a week. You are good all week and not tempted to eat something extra because the scale read a slower weighing!!

    btw...I see my mum everyday anyway...but when I've done some exercise, I just want to jump on that scale! x
