how do we switch back to the old layout?

    Is there any way to go back to the old layout. I am finding this new layout to be annoying and in my mind not very user friendly.

    I also agree with this. It is also more annoying for making a meal of food that has been eaten on a day other than yesterday.

    I hate the new layout and don't understand how to quickly navigate it.

    they definitely want you to pay for premium+ by putting that Plan button where the Diary button used to be.

    I have no desire to pay more for feature I won’t use and now I need to retrain my thumb.

    100% agree this new version is GARBAGE. Aside from its lack of intuitive design, I’m struggling with duplicate meals in my diary now. Also noticing added foods don’t show up, then when I add them again they double-enter (deduct from totals) but are STILL not visible. And worse yet, now they cannot be edited or removed without manually navigating to the “all foods” view. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION!! (Or cancel my subscription)

    Similar to others I've seen,I came to the forum for the very first time in about seven years of using and paying for the app to say I can't stand this layout. On top of making everything more difficult to find, it's incredibly unresponsive. Switching days to forward plan my week used to be instant, but now just moving from today to tomorrow requires significant loading time.

    If this isn't fixed soon, I'm switching apps.

    where is the old layout and can we switch back it’s seriously making me consider switching to another app we pay a premium subscription price we should have a choice which layout we use the current update is horrid

    It seems like the current update just killed a bunch of features on IOS in pursuit of a simplified front page. The I expect it's a passing shot toward a full re-design of the app. If you're just going to take stuff away, you should supply the option of keeping it the way it is. ("Use classic mode," under options. No, it doesn't exist!)

    Consider what happened to Sonos with their update last year. If you anger your base, you'll lose them.

    I pay for the premium subscription and to have to track my fasts after I do instead them instead of in real-time infuriates me! That means I have to keep track of the start and stop times, so it's pointless to even enter them into the app! This new layout is horrible. It's not intuitive at all. We were not told this was happening. I want to be refunded.

    Bad enough that I couldn't easily add from frequently paired foods anymore, but now can't copy from any other day than yesterday? I've been so happy with MFP for like 7-8 years and within 24 hours thinking its time to bail? #wtf

    I hate the new premium and I'm sorry I renewed. I want to revert to the old plan and if I can't, I'm going to get a refund because this is stupid.

    Horrible business decision to make such sudden drastic changes while taking away features customers have already paid for. Premium price for a now sub-par app. Thankful I am only in the premium trial period. If the deleted features do not return before my trial is up I will be canceling and deleting your app.

    I have used MyFitnessPal for decades. I enjoyed being able to go in any meals copy any meals it was easy to use this latest version takes all of those simple features away. I am thoroughly disgusted with this new version. There has gotta be some way to take this back to the original version before this update. Does anybody know what we can do?

    Agree. I didn't need extra steps adding in food and water. Old layout was perfect. App is just harder to use now

    The new layout creates additional tasks. On the dashboard you selected what you needed. Is there an options for old or new layout?

    This reminds me of the 'new coke' debacle before the company reconsidered and returned to 'classic coke.'

    The change is exceedingly less functional as to be nearly disfunctional… for reasons already stated by everyone.

    People go where needs are met...
