Gotta get back on target!!!

I'm ready for a major comeback!
I used to be a super-fit marathon runner at my target weight, but life—especially becoming a parent 8 years ago—led to a change. I'm currently about 42 lbs (3 stone) overweight and have definitely slowed down (though the 10k distance is still there!).
I'm focused on getting back on track and turning 50 next year is my deadline.
My Goals by August 2026:
- Complete a 50k ultra marathon.
- Reach my target weight of under 170 lbs.
I have a small medical procedure coming up that will require a couple of weeks of recovery. Once that's done, I'm committing fully to:
- Building back my mileage safely and sustainably.
- Cutting out the unhealthy elements of my diet.
These goals are absolutely achievable, but accountability is key. The more committed I am, the more likely I am to succeed!
