    I'm Becca, 53, 5'6".

    My continuing goals: Drink more than 64 oz of water, 25+ grams of fiber, and 100+ grams protein.

    I'm going to try to get at least three days of activity, mixing strength and walking/jogging.

    November the month of faith and spiritual awakening with remembrance. So here I go again with faith in the process of counting calaroric intake. My activity is limited. My name is Mary. Hit my October Goal. My November goal is 190 lbs. Seems achievable but now I know with dedication.

    FIRST HALF OF THE MONTH:

    11/01-183.0 βœ… (Trend Weight: 184.1) Below is my Trend Weight graph for the past 6 months. I did really well starting around my birthday (May 10th) through summer. Then in September and throughout Autumn I have really become stagnant and fizzled out. No big permanent gains, just kind of like a firecracker that turned out to be a dud. It’s time to pick up some steam again, some sparkle. With the holidays directly in front of us, it won’t be easy but I’m going to give it the old college try and do my best to navigate it. I won’t settle for just β€œnot gaining” during the holidays. The losses need to pick back up and push their way through. I never know what tomorrow brings, but today I feel ready! New Month, Fresh Start!

    πŸ¦ƒπŸ¦ƒπŸ¦ƒπŸ¦ƒ 11/02 – 183.0 ↔️ (Trend Weight – 184.1) I made a lousy choice for dinner last night. Just because it fits into my calorie goal doesn’t mean it conducive to weight loss. I must remember that the wrong ACTUAL food choices (carbs, starches) that raise my blood sugars physically and scientifically trigger extreme hunger and extreme cravings as my body tries to β€œfix” things. I managed to get through it (this time) but things would be much easier if I would just stick to approved foods. It’s just so hard to stay away from certain things common and approved for other non-diabetic people. A sandwich without bread just isn’t filling! And sometimes I’m hyper-focused on heart health (saturated fat etc) and miss the big picture in my diabetes planning. Weight remained steady today but I must stay focused.

Tomorrow I travel for medical appointment so I’m glad I’m on good footing before the trip. There will be lots of sitting and a restaurant (or two). I will try to keep my head on my shoulders and stay away from desserts and extras.

It was another β€œeasy” day where I didn’t feel as hungry as normal. My glucose numbers were good and my cravings were low. However, I did not sleep well last night (Fitbit shows total of 2 hrs 50 minutes broken up). No TMI this morning is probably the biggest factor and it was an early weigh-in this morning as I got up earlier than normal due to my travel today. Below are yesterday’s numbers. Hopefully things will settle in over the coming days though I may not weigh tomorrow because I usually need a buffer day after travel.
