iOS control center button for quick action
As a daily MyFitnessPal user who tracks meals, water intake, and exercise throughout the day, I want to be able to access core MyFitnessPal functions directly from the iOS Control Center. This would allow me to log data or check my progress instantly, without the friction of unlocking my phone, finding the app/homescreen widget/notification panel widget, waiting for it to load, and navigating to the correct screen
For example, tracking a glass of water should not take more than 5 seconds, yet the only way I can do this is by opening the app navigating to the bottom and add a glass of water. In order to form a good habit, friction must be reduced as much as possible. Tracking a glass of water (that I drank in 5 seconds) takes at least 15 seconds, making me spend more time over the day to track the water than actually drinking it. Same thing goes for a quick snack, or some spontaneous exercise.
My suggested buttons to add:
- « log food »
- « log water »
- « log exercise »
It would be awesome if you could add this. Thank you very much, and I love what you’re already doing!
