After nearly two weeks of daily exercise and eating less than 1200 - no cheating - the scales showed a 1 pound loss once, and since then I'm back to 11st.4.....like it's the only weight my body recognises, or maybe the scales are broken???

You're not supposed to eat less than 1200 calories, and your supposed to eat back your exercise calories. MFP already has a deficit built into it, when you exercise you create a larger deficit which can be harmful to you and your progress. Too much of anything is not good, including too much of a deficit. If your calories goal is 1200 calories a day, you must net 1200 calories. If you burn 300 calories from exercise, you have to eat 1500 calories to net 1200 calories.0
