Sugar free since Sunday.

I have been sugar free and nearly bread free since Saturday. It’s been a big struggle. But I have had pain (inflammation) everywhere. I thought it must be sugar related and it seems to be. Mostly meat and veggies.

I do feel better than I did.

I know thanksgiving is next week. I plan to have a keto dessert.

Hopefully appetite will ease and you'll start feeling better!

    What's your idea for dessert?

    Mine isn't keto...

That’s great! Inflammation affects us in so many ways. I hope that your pain diminishes.
I notice my body complaining when I eating too much sugar too.

I had switched to a low FODMAP diet at the end of May, which is basically a "no HFCS" diet (among other things). Actual real sugar is ok but nothing artificial. The weight dropped off dramatically! I wasn't actually trying to lose weight at the time, it was just a side effect of the diet. But wow, when you cut out high fructose corn syrup and gluten… Boy howdy!

Congrats on cutting out sugar! Some people are seriously addicted to that stuff, the struggle is real!

yes, cutting processed sugar products, cookies, etc, will really help with weight loss however it's not just the sugar, It's the calories it contains that you were lowering, which is the key to the fat loss.
