Sinus infection/Asthma and Zumba?

I currently have a sinus infection (it's going away though, I feel great today!) but also have asthma. I REALLY want to go to my zumba class today but I'm worried I'll have trouble breathing. Anyone know if this is a good idea or not, should I just stay home?

Is this your first zumba class? You'll know more than any of us if you're up to it. If you feel like the sinus infection is pretty much over with then go ahead with it.

  • I have to say go for it - just listen to your body. As a Zumba instructor... ;) when I have a bad cold, it can actually help clear up my breathing if only temporarily. If you need to slow down, then slow down. Modify the moves so you can still be moving but not going crazy high intensity.
