I need Advice please

I really want to gain weight and i have no clue where to start. For one:
- I have no problems with eating food at all, I eat all day! I am 5 ft and 99 pounds..

My issue is that i have a fast metabolism and i don't know what to do to gain weight. I have been doing a little bit of research and i have come up with this plan, I need to know from my community if this is a good plan. If not then what do i need to do?

Important note: I want to gain weight not a whole bunch of muscle, i want to gain weight in my butt and thighs and a little in my arms, I want that feminine curvy weight added on

1) I bought Boost plus drinks chocolate flavor
2) I am going to get Maca Root and Venugreek pills to take also
3) I plan on doing exercises for my butt and legs like squats, and kickbacks. ( I am not sure what other exercises i should be doing)
4) Eating 3 meals a day with snacks in between as well.

Is this a good plan?? I need some guidance because i really need to gain weight. All comments are welcome

You can probably skip steps one and two. Pills, shakes, supplements, etc. aren't really worth the money IMHO.

Bodies are what they are. Usually, its not typical to be able to control where we gain weight. it sort of just happens. I also need to ask, why do you want to gain weight so specifically? Its human nature to worry about not being ---- enough. A slender figure is also feminine, just as curvy girls often long to be thin, we all envy the opposite of whatever we have.

Having a fast metabolism is fine. If you are eating plenty of nutrients a day, and feel fine, there is no reason you would need to gain weight, unless a doctor has told you so.

But, a good healthy diet and plenty of exercise may help you feel good about your target areas, so I would say 3 and 4 are the way to go. Good luck to you!
  • Cardio and pushing yourself to eat more is actually a good way to bulk up. One of my health professors said that if you supply your body with enough food, cardio is actually the ideal exercize for putting on pounds and some muscle. (running)

I would up your carb intake- in a healthy way. Have bread with all of your meals.

Try eating hearty meals, supplying yourself with protien.

My friend went to the doctor for a similar problem and her doctor suggested that she incorporate more "junk foods" into her diet. So I would try for some high calorie foods.

    OR

    we could just swap metabolisms

Agree with this post. If you NEED to gain weight because your doctor told you to, or because you're lacking energy or your hair is falling out... eat a balanced diet but more food overall, and maybe start lifting some weights. The squats are a good idea for building muscle in your booty, but you're not going to be able to pre-determine where you will put on weight.

But if you are perfectly healthy already and are just small, learn to love the body you have!

when you say you "eat all the time" you probably don't eat as much as you think you do.

I would suggest tracking your calories and eating more than you need to maintain that weight. To help reach your goal you can add full fat peanut butter, avocadoes, nuts, etc. to boost your calories without having to actually "EAT MORE".

The maca root may be a good idea though, i have read a few studies where it has increased estrogen/balanced out hormonal problems and led to fat gain in breasts and buttocks. There are actually quite a few people who take it to try and naturally increase bust size.
