Pics, Progress, Pride, Provisions

Hey all,
I've found myself shifting from one action plan to another but always pushing myself. I had decided to start the 30DS on Sept first to incorporate strength training in to my workout regimen (what mostly consisted of different forms of cardio) thinking that it sounded like the perfect idea. I've modified some provisions for my workout - mainly for this month and the following. I have done the 30DS video a few times but not every day and found myself pressing more from hiking/incline walking to jogging. I'M LOVING my improved stamina and it's happening so fast! I've decided to stick with cardio until I get to my goal weight and then shift more towards strength. I have 5 and 12lb free weights that I plan on doing multiple reps of bicep curls, lateral raises, and dumbell rows with as so far it's done a lot of toning for my arms and back- I have been taking pictures from when I started logging religiously on MFP (July 31 - today) as well as before and during the 30DS. Below are my progress pictures - stats=

Height 5'9"
HW 220 something (Didn't spend a lot of time around scales back then...ya dig)
Weight as of July 19 -197.6
logging on MFP - 190.2
CW: 176.0

Feeling good! A few hiccups and weight gains along the way :) I've cut alcohol out of my diet completely for what I'm calling "Sober September" and on Sunday, after a 5 MILE RUN (so proud of myself for not stopping once during said run) I did have a brie cheese on wheat - grilled cheese sandwich followed by a slice of my friends homemade apple pie - otherwise my diet and exercise has been rock solid. I've had green days since July 31st and only exceeded my daily goal once - this past Sunday but was still in the green. The results are subtle and happening at a moderate pace. It's all worth it to take your time and form healthy and long lasting habits. Stick with it guys :) I hope this can serve as motivation for at least one person - I know that pictures of results/success stories always inspire me, so here is my contribution! Keep fighting the good fight, the rewards are infinite! <3
