    I hate the hair, I don't like hair that short. Other than that, I like.

    Uh...her hair is tied back. Anywho...no wonder women feel the need to continually "improve" themselves. Harsh crowd. I think she's gorgeous! Probably even more gorgeous without the makeup.

    Miss is a contraction for "mistress" and is not an abbreviation. The period is worse than superfluous; it's distracting. Can we please get one of the moderators to fix the topic title?

    I was misled and believed this was an article about Mississippi and Kansas, as "Miss." is a common abbreviation for Mississippi.

    This is incredibly distracting, irritating and is ruining my entire day and I'm going to be over on calories now.

    took a peek at the article. she's quite well-versed: hunter, medic in the military, fluent in chinese, and supposedly would be the first miss america to show tattoos--because she wants to break barriers and not hide behind any kind of hypocrisy. of course, this is per people magazine, which is, you know, people magazine. hahha. but still, if all is true, more power to her!

    guess i took an interest when i saw that she has the serenity prayer tattooed on her--that prayer is immensely important to me.

    I have only just met her and haven't had a chance to stalk her brows yet. But any woman who eats a pork chop with two hands is A-ok in my book.

    Yay, she has a brain!
    Is her face classically attractive? Not really.
    Is she above average and (above all) interesting to look at? Indeed.
    People complaining about the hair and makeup? Her hair and makeup in those pictures were done by the magazine. The first one is a ham handed attempt to contrast the glamour girl with the uniform and utilitarian-ish ponytail, the second is the same make up artist trying to "soften" the look a little to go with the gown.
