Weight Loss for healthy pregnancy

When I did a few searches on this topic, no current threads pulled up so I'm starting one!

One of the main goals, aside from overall health, in my personal weight loss journey has been to get to a point where I would be able to have a healthy pregnancy. I am 29 years old and my husband is 34 and we, of course, want to have a family. I have been steadily losing weight since the first quarter of this year and finally got to a point where I FEEL comfortable with my body and look healthy. I went ahead and got full physicals done at both my GP and OBGYN and both are thoroughly impressed with my weight loss progress and gave me a clean bill of health.

Is anyone else in the same boat or a similar one? Would love to add some MFPers that are going through the same thing for support, encouragement, etc. If you are, feel free to add me - just make sure to include a message when you add. Ladies only please, thanks!

I'm also trying to get healthier before we get pregnant. We're a bit older than you and your husband (37 and 40). We are actually having infertility problems and I feel if I were a healthier weight it might alleviate some of those issues. Anyway, feel free to add me if you'd like. I've been logging for around 45 days now and have lost 17 lbs.
