HI all ,
I just started training to run 5k back in mid July , proud to say I have now accomplished that and so far my time is down 31:45:D
I know cardio like running outside or on a treadmill helps blast fat which is why i started doing it and i know its helped me alot but i particulary noticed it in my butt forsure it seems flatter and i noticed diminishing cellulite on my butt and thighs, I think its all from running I was doing JM workout DVD's in bettween since back in Jan when I started but I was wondering if and what others noticed nd where and if its really from running or something else...
Thanks

That if I run too much I my thighs get bulky, while my waist stays slim, which is counter productive and annoying!0

I've been running regularly for a little over 3 years now. I've definitely noticed my core/abdomen area getting more slender/fit and my legs are much more streamlined than they used to be. My calves definitely got more definition. Can't say much for my rear since there isn't that much to begin with, but overall I think running sort of flattens and streamlines your form. At least for me, anyway.
Congrats on taking up running, btw. It can really be life changing!0 -
I know its helped my waist as well for sure . Im so sad summer is almost over and winter is comming I dont think ill get to run much unless I get to an indoor track or use my treadmill which I hope will help thanks it really is life changing. I even run with daughter in her stroller some days too0

I started back running three weeks ago and I've definitely noticed things getting firmer/less wobbly - especially my legs! I'm sure that my tummy is looking a little flatter too
I want to hear more of this, as I want to get excited about what's coming next lol...0 -

For the runners who haven't seen this, it will give you a good chuckle.
I picked up running around May of this year and got serious probably around the end of June. My legs are MUCH more streamlined. When I would sit Indian style before I used to get this (for lack of a better descriptor) lump of fat that would bunch up on the inside of my knee. That lump is all but gone. I didn't have much of an *kitten* to begin with but I surely DON'T have one now. I just keep plugging away trying my best to outrun the "Blerch."0 -
I noticed it first in my calves, then legs, then stomach. Bu tI guess it would affect everyone a bit differently. Some strength training is on the list to keep my butt :-D0

Awesome 3 weeks and what a difference then eh.
Ya thats also kind of why im asking hoping to see more changes but curious to know what ppl notice the most, see if i can relate a bit as well:)
I think my tummy is getting a little flatter i know its definitely tight when im running and trying to breathe right at my pace but i think i need extra work for that as i've had a baby so im sure that wont do enough.0
