Progress!

I always thought that counting calories was dumb.. then my co-worker started using an app similar to MyFitnessPal and started losing some weight. So I joined and started counting! This was around June of this year. Around the same time I also started training for my first marathon (woohoo!) and so I am running as well at watching the calories I eat.

What I love about this is that you don't need to restrict yourself. If it fits your calories, enjoy it! Also, don't beat yourself up if you go over one day. Just keep going :)

So, here is a picture of my progress. The picture on the left was Christmas 2012 (Probably my heaviest - 160lbs.)
The picture of the right was yesterday (Recently weighed in at 145!) I am 5'8".

My goal is 135 - After I finish my marathon (which is Oct. 26th - wish me luck!) I will keep running, and am thinking about getting into lifting, as I see alot of women on here love it.
