Weight fluctuations

So my weight is back up to 180.3, I know out be water could be muscle could be anything. I'm fed up and I'm upset.... I stay within my calories exercise and this happens. I asked before if calories vs. nutrition makes the weight go down and many replied calories but junk won't keep me full long enough, so here's the question.... What can I possibly do to have easy clean meals? Anyone have any cheap inexpensive ways to prepare healthy items quickly....?

When I was 17 and about to start college I lost 20 lbs in two months doing the same, cut out junk food an only ate food at home.

Six years of crappy eating after being married to someone who I love dearly but eats like crap. Trying to relearn the basics but I can't afford cray expensive things or complicated recipes with too many ingredients.... Any advice on easy snacks.

  • My go-to-meal has been raw tuna, some type of steamable veggie (broccoli, sugar snap peas, whole green beans) and a bit of seasoning (powdered Italian dressing or one of the McCormick food seasonings). Very quick to make and only 3 ingredients. But, of course, you have to like tuna. :-)

You can also alternate that with chicken or eggs.

Chicken: I go to Costco (or Sam's) to by frozen ones in bulk. I thaw about 4 or 5 at a time (about 150g each) and quickly fix them up in the morning or previous evening. I can cut them up into snack, quick meals or lunches for the next couple days, which is also good in case I get cravings in between.

Eggs: Cheap anywhere but def also at Costco extra cheap.

With the tuna I really like to use a very ripe avocado to mix in to replace any mayo some might use. Its super healthy and I love the taste.

I also like to have nature-packed fruit for on the go snacks or as carb additions to my snacks/meals. Such as bananas, apples, pears, citrus fruits. Berries are easy to pack but are also more expensive (again bulk at Costco = better... given you finish them all)

I am on a tight budget myself but these are my staples. I did invest in some key spices/herbs etc to make these repeat ingredients taste different and not get too boring such as garlic (PLENTY! heh), tumeric, lemon herb mix, and I grow a few herbs such as parsely, mint, thyme and sage that can't be killed no matter how hard you try in my yard (pots on a window seal also works; basil dies and has to be repurchased every year).

Eating like "crap" won't necessarily keep you from losing weight. If you're within your macros/caloric goals, you should still be losing weight.

Thank you for the tips, I'm going for the bulk amount of pre made home cooking to get me through. Hehe. Thanks again.

I've been told, maybe it water or something, muscle maybe too, I dunno but I have stuck it out given a day or two of binging but other than that pretty good.

How long have you been stuck for?

Lol now I'm embarrassed... I did my last weigh in last Thursday and did my weekly weigh in today. So a few days I guess....
