    Good Afternoon Pepper's,
    Well did not get a walk in today but will get off bus early and get at least 15 mins in. My weight did not change still 194 and Im ok with that. My clothes feel better and I have been exercising so maybe muscle or aunt flow is giving me some water. Hope it shows a loss next week. :drinker:

    Hope everyone gets a loss or even maintain. Check in later. Very busy at work today. :bigsmile:

    HI Gang!! :flowerforyou:

    Gosh, I am so tired. I have not slept well the last 2 nites, and many errands today in the city. Had appt w/my cardiologist. He said I am doing great! Heart rate is regular/66 (lowered!) and blood pressure is normal. My LDL has dropped again! YAY! It was 90 in Dec and now it is 78! My goal is 100 or lower. They did an EKG and he said it looks wonderful. My wt was up 4 lbs from last year, but he said nothing about it. Go back in a yr.

    As for my WI today, I did not lose or maintain, I gained .8 :ohwell: it could be a lot of things like Cindy mentioned. I did not get any exercise in today.... here's my plan for the next week ~

    Saturday ~ C25K W8D3, weighted ball workout, BL Cardio Max ~ 83 min [ ]
    Sunday ~ brisk walk, BL strength & sculpt, stretch & tone ~ 91 min [ ]
    Monday ~ C25K W9D1, weighted ball workout ~ 63 min [ ]
    Tuesday ~ walk/jog, BL strength & sculpt ~ 64 [ ]
    Wednesday ~ C25K W9D2, weighted ball workout, BL Cardio Max ~ 83 min [ ]

    It has been a busy running around day. Kelly it is water from having your week. I did ok today ran around but no real exercise. I have lots of yardwork tomorrow so plenty of exercise.

    I have do dishes and then bed. Its been a very long day. Check in the AM.

    Celebrating Walker Pickle days this weekend!! Watched my niece and nephew in the parade, had ham and turkey supper with all my family, bro & his family at my folks..... then fireworks! I'm all partied/pickled out!

    hi folks. there was an increase this week. Well, I could make excuses -- yada yada yada -- didnt exercise enough due to counselor being at house 3 nights this week, didn't watch food, etc etc etc.

    Instead, let me focus on what I did right this week....
    1. Counselor came to house 3x this week to assist the kids with their issues.
    2. Went to the dentist and had an older filling taken care of before I had a bigger dental problem.
    3. I maintained my sleep log to show my primary dr in hopes I can do a sleep study.
    4. Went out Thursday night w/one of my close friends. Had a great time in Atlantic City.
    5. Saw my parents this week.
    6. And most importantly, I did the custody needs assessment in court on Friday. Now, it's the judge to decide what custody will be for my children. I am hoping for a ruling in my favor....

    So instead of thinking oh, I gained weight... not good... I will focus on what did what I did well.

    Today, my oldest is at a friends house. My other two are with their father, hubby at work.... quiet house. I did 72 minutes of the wii workout -- 30 yoga & 42 cardio.

    There's not as much on my schedule this week so hopefully, I'll be able to do curves, more wii and end of work day gym time.

    My dental pain was bad yesterday..... ok today until I decided to do indulge in chewing gum.... Not a wise decision. Pain flared up again. 2 Aleve immediately went into my mouth when the shooting pains were dancing in my mouth..... the lesson learned is NO GUM.

    Have a good week. Let's focus on what we did good versus what we didn't accompish.

    I have added an exercise ticker...a personal challenge for myself...in hopes of keeping with my walking/jogging routine. I know it is doable, and slightly more than I have done the past 2 months...but I am ready to take it up a notch...here I go!

    Good Morning Pepper's,
    I am so mad at myself, I was so tired yesterday I did not check in, I went to bed and knowing I did not get to log in too tired to get up find my son's computer and log. I did get to log on Sat. but I broke my promise to myself to log on week ends.

    Well new day and will get walk in later eating well I am adding strength exercises before bed this week. did not do all the yard work I expected yesterday, I am going to do this no excuses. doing it this week if it kills me.

    Goals this week
    Mon - Fri 30 min walks on lunch
    eat 3 veggies and 3 fruits daily
    drink water and more and more
    Saturday - 30 day shred/yard work.
    check in everyday

    I can do this. I am by myself for the next three days, check back later.

    Have not heard anything from Jacque or Vita. Hope everything is ok with each of them and their families....:heart:

    I am tired today...feel like one of them day's when you just wanna lay on the couch all day :yawn: gonna walk to the p.o. here soon and hopefully that will energize me some. today I start my final week of C25K....I can't believe I am at this point! today is the first of 3---30 min jogs!! YIKES!!:noway:

    16 more days and I am back in the bus! :bigsmile: excited to see the kiddos again!

    Let's have a great day pepper's. Do what you gotta do and make it count!

    Hi All,
    sorry for being gone. Got soo much on my plate right now and trying to make everyone happy is bogging me down, Im back though and I am full of excitement and sadness . Hubby is still home, which is good, but he is leaving sometime this week which I am totally not ready for. I am going to Idaho this weekend to skate.
    Hope Jacque is ok. It made me nervous to think she may be in the hospital. Well gotta go pick some blackberrys they are all over and I am in love again with them.

    Kelly - 16 days. Our school does not return until 9/7. Granted those kids did not get out until very late June. Gotta thank the snow for that!

    Barb...I forgot to mention earlier I really enjoyed your post....about the *positives*. Much more appreciation for that needs to occur for all of us....even the tiniest little things. They ALL matter! :flowerforyou: Yes, our school district has always been early to start. Once it was Aug 13! but, we usually get out by the 20th of May. We had 8 snow days this year...so we just made it out in time for the Memorial Day weekend. We no longer have a full-spring-break-week either. :ohwell:

    Vita..thinking of you and sending prayers of strength and love your way. You know us pepper's will always be here for you! :heart: Do you think we can watch you on tv for the showdown? I'm so excited for YOU!! keep us informed!

    Hey ladies.....my work load has increased by leaps and bounds. See, we're getting close to the end of the fiscal year. Sigh... and it seems more employees are having work related injuries. So that increases my work load .....

    Of all the phone calls I got today at work -- only one was not connected to a work related injury case. What can I say...

    Due to the increase, I didn't make the gym at end of day workout. No jog. I did make it to Curves and I did do 45 minutes of wii yoga & aerobics. Granted none of dinner dishes are clean...... oh well....

    busy day here...some house chores, workout, trip to city for dermatology appt's w/dh and ds, pick up a few groceries, and then visit my best friend this evening.

    This is a horrible busy week. Found out I am pretty much working by myself until 1:30 - 2PM and then only have coverage until 4:30 while my boss is away. So did not get walk in yesterday :grumble: Hope to get a little walk today, even though lots of work to do I will get away for at least 20-30 mins. Had such a headache when I left work yesterday.

    Barb hope things calm down for you.

    Vita sorry hubby is going away, but very excited for you

    Hope you are doing well Jacque, we miss you :flowerforyou:

    Kelly thank you for being there. I really have to give myself a break I was so disappointed with myself for not logging on Sunday. I am feeling better today and will start again. I just have to make it theough today and tomorrow and then my boss is back.

    Gotta go phones are ringing off the hook, check back later.

    Told my kids that if they are home all day I can use the wii when I come home.
    Did 20 min yoga then later in the eveing did 40 minute aerobics.

    One day at a time... that's my motto, one day at a time.....

    tired pepper here...hope the rains hold off so I can get a good nites sleep. both dh & ds have Tinea Versicolor. Meds and body shampoo to clear it up...and the shampoo is for life! :huh:

    our boys will be done working this summer, Friday, at my dh's employer. they both will start college Aug.23.... youngest will be living at home and oldest is moving out Aug. 20. This month is gonna go quick. What does it mean when a mom is still not ready for her children to move away??:ohwell: :cry:

    And again..dh and oldest son leave for the final Canada trip this Friday. I am seriously thinking of taking a road trip north as well, to MOA....mini getaway?:wink:

    Well just have to make it through today boss back tomorrow. (got a good boss so missed her). Only got a 10 min walk in yesterday, did not log anything for the last 3 days (so busy). Goals for rest of week are drink water (have not done this either), eat fruits and veggies, 30 min walk daily.

    Kelly have one already gone, takes time but you get used to it. But lots of phone calls :laugh: :flowerforyou: I know it is hard. I have one left at home too and I refuse to let him move out until he finishes two years of college (first degree).

    Barb, one day at a time is good enough for me.

    Well back to my busy work day. check back later if I can.

    Dog day here...washed the puggers bedding, gave them both a bath, cleaned their ears, trimmed their nails and will brush them & their teeth later....good Lord, there is hair and water everywhere:noway:

    Will be mowing in a bit...and getting the guys ready for Canada the next 2 days..am sure I will be baking some cookies in there somewhere too...

    cooling off now from my W9D2 C25K...I really think I benefit with 2 days between each workout. Just have more energy.

    Cindy...hope you are surviving w/out the boss, and glad things will be back to normal soon. sometimes life just takes us on a slightly different path...you'll be fine. just focus on today! one day is about all I can handle anymore!:bigsmile:

    Barb ~ so do you do yoga often? I have a couple of dvd's and I just can't get in the mood to do it...or should I say *groove*. Does it burn a lot of calories...help with flexibility? When I finish C25K, I am gonna be changing some things up here..just getting some ideas.

    Well made it through another day. No walk today. Tomorrow will be back to a normal day and will be able to take off for 30mins without worring. :drinker:

    I have to take it day to day. I dont expect any loss this week. Well going to rap up my day at work. It is so muggy but I may try to get off a couple of stops early to get a little walk in today. Will do before bed exercise. Get a good night sleep. Check back tomorrow have a great night Pepper's.

    HEy all. Been running around here liek crazy! Still don't know when hubby is leaving, Im getting everthing ready for this weekend. Can't find out if we are gonna be on the web or tv because the site is not working:grumble: Had a miny stress re-lated breakdown yesterday... I need to calm down! Went with the kiddos and took the neighbor kids to pick blackberries today and ended up with half a plactic bag full. So i am baking a blackberry coffee type cake :) YUMMM and it is good for you. wheat flour, berries, (Calls for sugar, but I dont put it as the berries as sweet fnough) calls for eggs but I use whites only....some butter:ohwell: but is it all ok for you and I add some walnuts;)
    Anyhow feel like I am eating everything in site lately...hate the feeling....will weeigh in early tomorro then i am gone for the weekend:) Talk you all my pepper friends later
