Help with EATING

Options
Hey guys, I'd really like some more friends as I'm new to the community. I was just wondering if there were any of you that could help me with my calories first? My goal here is to lose the weight, not be a marathon runner. My specialist said exercise with hypothyroidism and PCOS wouldn't even really matter to lose weight and I should focus more on the 'diet' part.

Any tips for me? Low carb? More clean? I'm a college student but I don't eat any ramen or stuff of the sort. I'll have pizza on some occasions but it's not common.

    1. Input stats into myfitnesspal.

    2. Choose "1 lb per week" as your goal.

    3. Log everything. Weigh everything.

    4. Eat at calorie intake given.

    5. Rinse, repeat.

More specifically, eating lots of vegetables and minimally processed whole foods will help you feel fuller with fewer calories, so eat them. Make sure you hit or exceed your protein intake. Don't be afraid of fat. Make room in your intake for dessert sometimes so you don't go batty.

I agree. You don't have to do low carb or 'clean' eating. If that works for you, great, but don't force yourself to exclude foods you love for the sake of dieting, especially if you want it to work long term.
