How do you know if you're really full?

I know it's generally really bad for you to eat past being full, but the thing is I eat huge amounts of vegetables each meal and I always wind up feeling way too full. But I also eat other stuff, so I don't know if it's because of the bulk of the food, or because of the calories. My meals are usually around 500-800 and I have two meals a day. I don't wan't to eat more often than that though, because I'm doing IF.

Is it ok to just go on eating despite being full or is it always bad for your health/weihtloss, regardless of fiber content?

EDIT: I'm lazy with logging, so I usually can't be bothered to log vegetables, I just add in the calories elsewhere in my food journal.

If you're feeling uncomfortably full, I'd cut down on the veges and try adding some more calorie dense foods. Same calories but less bulk? Try going for stuff like oils, cheese, nuts, avocado, fattier meat cuts (assuming you're not vegetarian or vegan of course). Your body doesn't count calories, which is why 500 calories of vegetables is going to feel more filling than 500 calories of chocolate. I don't know if it's actually bad to eat past full, but it just kinda feels 'ugh' to me.

    More seriously...
Its always a good idea to not fill yourself.
Reduce your portion size and try to eat only when you are really hungry
    kind regards,
