Running and Cramps

I have been running for about a year now. I run 5k 3 days a week. I usually get a cramp in my right upper ab area after about 10 min of running and it lasts for about 10 min. Sometimes it hurts so bad I want to quit running, most of the time it is just very uncomfortable.

Why do I get these and is there something I can do to stop it?
