White Wine Relapse! New member! Friend me!

Hi all,

I'm very new to all this. The biggest problem Im having is going out with the girls... Theres only so many 'just water' and 'diet cokes' I can have before I give into the 'just one glass of wine which then turns into a bottle. 700 calories later and im having an apple for dinner.

Motivation and success stories needed! My VERY HONEST diary is open (although I'm not very good) if anyone would like to keep me company on the weight loss journey!

Im also doing the 30 day shred dvd

    Hiya!

    I'm currently new-ish to this too, and this week started the 5:2 diet. Going ok so far and on fast day number 2. I've previously done WW which is actually pretty good at taking into account the odd wine binge as you get weekly points and you can also work points off through exercising. I got a wee bit fed up of point tracking so decided to good old fashioned calorie count! Feel free to add. I'm an honest-ish diary enterer unless I can't remember. I've edited my profile today to encourage me to stick to this properly!

    I've started drinking wine spritzers when I go out - mixed with soda water. The wine is the same number of calories, but the soda water means it lasts longer, so I have less in the long run!

    Other alternatives include offering to drive - no-one tries tempting you away from diet coke if you say you have to drive home!
