Hi there...just introducing myself...
I'm committed to obtaining optimum health and well-being in order to fulfill my life purpose(s) with more vigor!
Over the past several years I have been gone through periods of time where I have put my healthy and well-being on the back burner and consequently gained weight and lost energy and self-confidence. I'm 6 feet tall and the scales are always going to read higher for me than many of my peers even when I'm really healthy and fit. Three years ago I lost nearly 20 pounds working out three times a week with a trainer. After changing careers and starting my own business within a year I had gained all the weight back plus 5...how frustrating. I've had enough! I need my energy and sense of well-being back! I'm still in the healthy BMI range (just barely)...but I need to lose 20 pounds to be at a weight that I feel good about...and I'd love to 25 pounds to fulfill my healthy vision. I'm thirty two and it really is getting harder and harder with every year that goes by. Since June I have started biking to and from work a few times a week. It is 9 miles one way. On other days I'm doing a two mile run or walking. I'm not back on a regular gym schedule yet...as a small business owner it's a challenge to make the time. I'm watching my portions and what I eat and drinking lots of water. Much to my dismay I've GAINED three pounds and now officially weigh the most I ever have in my life....SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!! Last week I found this site and I'm excited about the tools. Looking for some much needed support from like-minded individuals!
