MFP setting

I am not really just starting, I've been trying to figure out my best settings since May and this is what I came up with:
Carbs - 30%, Fat - 35%, Protein - 35%. This is definitely more protein that I ever had before, but put me around a gram of protein for the pound of my weight. I do have to watch carbs and sugar due to my tyroid issues, so I am trying to eat a little bit less carbs. Now, it will leave my with 35% of fat, which seems a little bit too much. But if I reduce the fat, then it will increase my carbs percent. Experience MFPer, what would be a good balance? I am 122.8 lb, with goal weight 115 lb, 5"2' female.

That's not a bad balance at all. You could do 40 carb 30 protein 30 fat, that's a common one that many people find easy to live with. If you are limited to 30% carbs, what you've got is fine :)

    Fat is fine :)

Thanks! I am getting my fats from the healthy sources, but sometime feel bad when I eat that many nuts in one day.

You should clarify the healthcare advice on carbs if you have a thyroid issue. Ask how many grams per day.
