Okay. I am recently obsessed, obsessed with this blog that my friend told me about. Apparently it's been fairly popular for awhile so maybe some of you have even heard of/read it, but I jsut discovered it and need to share it. It's by this woman who lives in Seattle and she writes about food in the way that I love food. In a delicious, fresh, homemade, healthy and amazing kind of way. In the kind of way that really appreciates a tomato that is so perfect you eat it like an apple. She includes recipes for alot of stuff, and while everything isn't super low cal it's all real food. In my opinion, being truly satisfied with what you're eating goes a long way towards eating better. Example: a homemade pasta dinner with vegetables and a light sauce with leave you feeling much better than a Lean Cuisine meal, therefore reducing your urge to snack later on. My goal is to try one recipe a week.

I have read her blog, but somehow haven't lately. I'm glad you reminded me of it.

I completely agree with you. I don't diet foods, I would so much rather eat real food, really good food and eat less of it or exercise more. I'm not going to eat cheese that tastes like plastic, I go for the real stuff! I've only been here on MFP for about 2 1/2 weeks and I LOVE it, I've never been good at tracking my food/calorie counting so that is such a big benefit to me, but I'm still not going to eat food that doesn't taste good to me. I'm still eating pretty much whatever I like, just less of some things. So, I know what you're saying!!!
