Scared over getting started

A few weeks ago (can't remember how many exactly) I tried Slim in 6 and only lasted 7 minutes.
I want to try it again, but I am so nervous about it.
My fear is that I won't be able to do it I suppose, which I know is silly, but it's a real fear.
I guess I'm just looking for support really.
Has anyone else experienced this fear and how did you get over it?

The first time I tried the 30 Day Shred I had to quit after about 8 minutes. But I gave myself a rest day and tried again. I got through it the second time but I had to take some breaks. Another rest day and I tried again. I thought I was going to die! But I got through it. And after a week I was even better.
You'll never progress if you don't push a little. Not to the point of injury, but keep trying things that are too hard for you. Maybe you can't do it the first time, or even the second, but you can work up to it. Keep going!0 -
Feel the fear and keep doing it anyway!
Remember that you are not supposed to be able to breeze on through it.
Just enjoy every 30 second period that you can complete properly.0 -
I started with Biggest Loser DVD's. They have 5 minute warm-up & cool down plus one 20 minute and 2 ten minute (or close) sessions. I started with the warm-up, 20 minutes, and the cool down and it was miserable! I couldn't do a good portion of the workout and was sure I'd never be able to complete it. And I talked to the TV alot!! Just keep at it. It IS hard but you really can do more if you do more. :flowerforyou:0

Just do it the best you can, the more you do it the easier it will get!! Before you know it you'll wonder what you were ever worried about and be looking for something harder!!!0

It is real!! What I do is really simple. I keep trying!! I may not be able to finish the first few times, but I keep trying. Eventually you will be able to get through the WHOLE thing. That is such a cool feeling. It took me 4 tries to finish day 1 of the C25K program.
Only lasting 7 minutes is NOT a failure. It is you're starting point. You won't know how far you can go if you give up! It's going to be hard, but you CAN do it!0
