Stalled :(

Hi I have lost 25lbs since May which is great, I am averaging 1,400 a day ....

However, I have stalled....not lost anything for three weeks now, I work out up to 400-500 a day and do strengths exercise too

Do u think I should go down to 1,200 kcal a day? but I do find myself getting hungry in the evenings, any advice will be appreciated....I have another 7lb to go

    Your diary is closed.
    It might be an issue with adherence, weighing food, efficiency of exercise, etc...the last pounds take a while.

    I'd be wary of reducing further, especially if you are hungry.

    I am feeling a lot better though......cant believe how far I have come. But yes...the last few lbs are a hassle, I am now talking xls-binding, which is supposed to help.....cant see any difference but im hopeful :)

    Fat binders are problematic in that, if they work, and that's a big IF, they affect the absorption of essential vitamins. Might as well just chew a lot of lettuce - at least it has some nutritional value.

    Not a good long-term strategy.

    try eating more not less.

    with 7lbs to go you should be aiming to lose 0.5lbs per week

    It's normal to not lose anything for a while when you only have a few lbs left to go. I'd carry on with the same calories but maybe change the exercise around a bit and see how it goes. Good luck!
