Just checking in from Norwich here. Started a few days ago on MFP, although I came across the site a year or two ago.

Probably like may I've tried many times to lose weight. I like the MFP approach - it's easy to record food intake and a chart showing weight loss will be encouraging. My big downfall in the past has been comfort eating. Feeling grumpy? - reach for the ice cream or toast!

Feel free to add me - I need all the encouragement I can get!
